Manage Pembee subscription

Pembee has three tiers of pricing depending on the features you need. For the first 30-day trial period, you will have full access to all the premium features so that you can try all the functions before deciding on the most suitable tier for your business. This guide will walk you through how to set up your subscription plan and manage your plan (such as switching tiers, pausing your subscription or cancelling your plan).

Set up your subscription plan

In Settings/ Subscription tab, you will be able to check how many days are left for your trial period and set up your initial subscription plan. You can set up a plan at any time during the trial period and you will not be charged until the end of the trial.

By clicking Set up plan, you will be re-directed to the secure Stripe payment portal, where you will need to put in your credit/debit card details and contact information.

Manage your subscription plan

After setting up your plan, you will return to the subscription tab, with the information updated on your selected plan and next billing date. Click on Manage subscription if you would like to change your subscription.

  • Cancel plan: You will be able to stop the next billing cycle. You will still have access to your current plan until the end of the current billing period. After this, your account may be deleted according to our data retention policy.
  • Pause: Alternatively, if you operate a seasonal business, you can choose to pause your subscription. You have the option to automatically resume the subscription after certain number of months, or you can manually resume the plan. During the period when your plan is paused, you will still be able to access the admin area. However, your customers will not be able to place any bookings with you.
  • Upgrade or downgrade: You can upgrade or downgrade to a different plan. You will see immediate changes to the features available to you, depending on which plan you have switched to. The fees you pay will be pro-rated depending on the number of days you are/ will be on each plan. You can click on Show details to reveal how the fee is calculated.
  • Site disabled: If you don't have an active subscription or if you have paused your subscription, your Pembee front page will show as disabled, preventing any users to place new bookings. You will need to choose an active subscription plan to enable the booking function again.

Disclaimer: We believe you should be in full control of your subscription plan, and we understand each business has different needs. This is why our subscription model offers the maximum amount of flexibility. However, Pembee reserves the right to investigate and stop certain behaviours that seek to abuse this flexible offering.

Invoice

When a subscription is created or renewed, you will automatically receive an email with an invoice attached. To see all your past invoices, you can go to Settings/ Subscriptions and then click the Manage subscription button, which will lead you to a Stripe-hosted subscription site. You will find all past invoices at the bottom of the page.
