The top pages are AI-generated listicles that rank Google Workspace and generic scheduling apps as soccer club software, plus vendor blogs that put themselves at number one. So we ignored the rankings and rebuilt this from the products: features you can verify on the vendor's own materials, published pricing where it exists, and real Capterra reviews with the star rating and the review count attached.

Two rules we held ourselves to. First, no number appears here that we could not verify in July 2026, and where a figure is unpublished we say it is unpublished instead of repeating a third-party guess. Second, where a Capterra sub-score backs up a complaint, we cite the sub-score, because one angry review is an anecdote and a 3.9 support score across 198 reviews is evidence.

Four names come up in this category that we deliberately did not rank, and the reasons are useful if you are shopping.

Sports Connect, formerly Blue Sombrero and Affinity Sports, has the largest review base in the category at 4.6 ★ across 217 Capterra reviews and is genuinely soccer-native. We left it out because it is being sunset. Nebraska State Soccer's own site tells members that Stack Sports "will be shutting down the Association product that we currently use through Sports Connect," with clubs moving to PlayMetrics from the 2026-27 season, and Minnesota Youth Soccer describes the same transition. If you are on it today, that is your cue to start planning. We have seen a specific sunset year repeated in search results but could not verify it, so we are not printing one.

Demosphere no longer exists as a brand. SquadFusion rates 4.9 ★ across 30 Capterra reviews with recent activity and published annual pricing, and on the numbers it deserved a slot. We cut it on maintenance signal: the site footer still reads 2020, there is no blog or changelog, and its G2 profile is flagged as inactive.

Spond is free and well-liked, but it is a team communication app rather than club management software, with no real registration or finance depth. If comms is your whole problem, it is worth a look; if you need to collect money, it is not the category.
